Just 30 minutes from Dublin, this overnight retreat offers the perfect escape to reset, recharge, and make lasting connections – whether you’re coming solo or bringing your pals along!

This retreat welcomes everyone with open arms – from complete beginners to experienced yogis. We’ve created a warm, friendly space where you can explore movement, breathwork, and relaxation whilst having a genuinely enjoyable time.

Day 1

Partner Yoga

Connect & Flow: Experience yoga in a whole new way through gentle assisted stretching in small groups of 2-4. This session is all about building trust and connection whilst exploring movement together. Don't worry if you've come alone - it's a brilliant way to break the ice and make new friends! Through clear communication and gentle guidance, you'll discover how working with others can deepen your practice and create meaningful connections.

Mindful Breath

Rest & Restore: After lunch, we'll slow things down with a beautiful combination of gentle somatic movement and conscious breathing. Learn practical coherent breathwork techniques and gentle pranayama (breathing exercises) that you can take home with you. This session is perfectly timed to help you digest, unwind, and prepare for your relaxation time.

Relaxation Time

Your time to truly unwind! Enjoy state-of-the-art wellness facilities including a thermal pool, sauna, hot tub, and steam room. Perhaps take a wandering visit to the friendly alpacas, find a quiet corner with a good book, or simply sit and soak in the peaceful surroundings. This is your moment to pause and just be.

Journalling Workshop

Transform journaling from a chore into a joy with this practical, hands-on workshop. We'll explore engaging prompts, clever tools, and useful techniques to make journaling an enjoyable part of your daily routine. This isn't about perfect prose - it's about finding what works for you!

Yin, Restorative and Nidra

The Ultimate Unwind: End your day with this deeply nurturing practice combining the gentle stretches of yin yoga, the complete relaxation of restorative poses, and the meditation of yoga nidra. Find your comfortable edge both physically and mentally as you're guided through this calming practice. Afterwards, enjoy a cup of sleepy tea - feel free to chat with your new friends or quietly drift off to bed.

Day 2

Energising Vinyasa Flow

Rise & Shine: Start your morning with an uplifting blend of Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga. This energetic practice will wake up your body and mind, getting your energy flowing for the day ahead. While dynamic, this class is totally suitable for all levels - modifications and options are always offered. Expect some fun sequences, upbeat energy, and maybe even a few laughs!

Relaxation Time

River Meadow Walk and Closing Meditation

Round off your retreat experience with a gentle stroll by the river meadow or through the forest - the perfect time to chat with your new friends and reflect on the weekend. We'll finish in a sheltered spot in the forest for a heart-warming loving-kindness meditation, bringing our weekend to a beautiful close.

Your Host

Steve from Warrior Wellness brings a unique blend of experience to the Breathe and Bond retreat. With an educational background in psychology and over a decade of service in the Irish Defence Forces, his approach weaves together mental wellbeing, physical movement, and meaningful connection in a way that makes wellness accessible to everyone.

Drawing from his military experience, psychology studies, and certification as a life coach, Steve understands the profound connection between mental and physical wellbeing. His teaching style has evolved from his own journey of self-discovery and his passion for helping others find their path to wellness.

As the founder of Warrior Wellness in Kilcullen, Steve’s mission is simple yet powerful: to help people feel better mentally, move better physically, and connect more deeply with themselves and others. His classes blend traditional yoga practices with modern psychological insights and up-to-date understanding of anatomy, creating an environment where personal growth happens naturally.

Steve’s approach to teaching focuses on meeting each person where they are, whether they’re touching their toes for the first time or are seasoned practitioners. His genuine, down-to-earth style, shaped by years of real-world experience, creates a space where everyone feels welcome to explore, grow, and connect.

At the Breathe and Bond retreat, Steve brings together all aspects of his expertise – movement, mindfulness, and connection – to create an experience that nourishes mind, body, and spirit. His guidance helps you discover new ways to move, breathe, and connect, all while feeling supported on your wellness journey.

Booking & Prices

Early Bird Rate: €249 per person sharing (available until 23rd February 2025) 

Regular Rate: €279 per person sharing 

Single Room Supplement: €50 (limited availability)

How to Book: Initial payment of €150 required to secure your spot.

Booking available through link below. Upon booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a questionnaire for dietary requirements and other details. Remaining balance can be paid prior to retreat or in cash on arrival at Powerscourt Springs.

Terms and Conditions: Bookings are non-refundable but transferable to another person. Minimum numbers required for retreat to proceed. Payment plans available – please reach out if you’d like to discuss options. 

Please note: Host reserves the right to change schedule and workshops. This will only happen if absolutely necceasry due to external factors. Itinerary will be sent prior to retreat.
