Day 1 - In Detail
Partner Yoga
Connect & Flow: Experience yoga in a whole new way through gentle assisted stretching in small groups of 2-4. This session is all about building trust and connection whilst exploring movement together. Don't worry if you've come alone - it's a brilliant way to break the ice and make new friends! Through clear communication and gentle guidance, you'll discover how working with others can deepen your practice and create meaningful connections.
Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra
Surrender into profound relaxation as evening falls with this nurturing practice combining gentle somatic movement, conscious breathing, and guided meditation. Using supportive props like blankets, pillows, and eye masks, you'll settle into deeply restorative poses that allow your nervous system to completely unwind. The session flows through pranayama (breathwork) techniques to calm the mind, before transitioning into Yoga Nidra - a guided meditation practice that takes you to the edge of sleep whilst remaining aware. This powerful combination releases the day's tensions and prepares you for the most peaceful night's rest, leaving you feeling renewed and centred.

Your time to truly unwind and reconnect! Enjoy the luxurious spa facilities including hot tub and sauna, cosy up by the crackling wood stove fire, or find your perfect reading nook in the historic farmhouse. New Year, New Me (LOL) - Yogalates, FRC, Sauna, Ice Baths
Start your New Year with the ultimate mind-body awakening experience! This invigorating session combines the best of yoga and Pilates in a flowing Yogalates practice that builds strength, flexibility, and core stability whilst incorporating functional range conditioning to improve your mobility and movement quality. Through controlled articular rotations and targeted stretches, you'll enhance your body's natural range of motion whilst connecting to your breath and intention for the year ahead. After working up a beautiful sweat, you'll transition into the luxurious sauna to release tension and toxins, allowing your muscles to deeply relax and your mind to find clarity. The grand finale? A refreshing ice bath experience that builds mental resilience, boosts circulation, and leaves you feeling absolutely unstoppable! Energising Vinyasa Flow
Rise & Shine: Start your morning with an uplifting flow of Vinyasa yoga. This energetic practice will wake up your body and mind, getting your energy flowing for the day ahead. While dynamic, this class is totally suitable for all levels - modifications and options are always offered. Expect some fun sequences, upbeat energy, and maybe even a few laughs!
Closing Circle & Intention Setting Meditation
Gather in our beautiful circle as we honour the transformative journey you've shared together and set powerful intentions for the year ahead. This heart-opening session begins with a guided loving kindness meditation, cultivating compassion for yourself, your retreat family, and extending that beautiful energy out into the world. As we sit in sacred space together, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on the insights, connections, and growth you've experienced over these magical days. Through gentle guidance, you'll craft meaningful intentions for 2026 - not resolutions that feel heavy, but heartfelt commitments that align with your authentic self. The session creates space for sharing (if you wish) and witnessing the beautiful transformations within your retreat community. Your Hosts
Steve from Warrior Wellness and Jeanie from Alchemy School of Yoga bring together a powerful combination of expertise, experience, and genuine passion for creating transformative wellness experiences.
Steve brings a unique blend of experience to the Spark & Flow retreat. With an educational background in psychology and over a decade of service in the Irish Defence Forces, his approach weaves together mental wellbeing, physical movement, and meaningful connection in a way that makes wellness accessible to everyone. Drawing from his military experience, psychology studies, and certification as a life coach, Steve understands the profound connection between mental and physical wellbeing. As the founder of Warrior Wellness in Kilcullen, his mission is simple yet powerful: to help people feel better mentally, move better physically, and connect more deeply with themselves and others.
Jeanie Jyanti brings over twelve years of yoga study and ten years of full-time teaching experience to create deeply authentic and accessible practices. With over 800hrs RYT training under renowned teachers including Yogrishi Vishvketu of Akhanda Yoga in Rishikesh, India, and specialised training in pregnancy, restorative, and accessible yoga, Jeanie’s expertise spans multiple yoga traditions. As the founder of Alchemy School of Yoga and creator of the Yoga UnCorked Podcast, she’s passionate about preserving ancient yoga teachings whilst making them relevant for modern life. Her background in chemistry (BSc Hons from UCC) and seven years in pharmaceuticals brings a unique scientific understanding to her holistic approach.
What We Offer Together: Steve’s grounding in psychology and resilience training perfectly complements Jeanie’s deep knowledge of traditional yoga practices and breathwork. Where Steve brings practical stress management tools and movement expertise, Jeanie offers profound spiritual practices and accessible teaching methods.
